The next Central Wisconsin Tobacco Free Coalition meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 17th from 3:00-4:30 PM at Portage County Health and Human Service Department, (817Whiting Ave, Stevens Point). At our meeting we will be starting the discussion around structure, health equity and the future direction of the coalition. Please join us!

FACT Youth displayed a human billboard to help educate their peers on the addictiveness of e-cigarettes that read, ‘Don’t let electronic cigarettes vaporize your future!’


FACT in the Media

FACT member, Madelyn Dickey, submitted a letter to the editor about Miller Park eliminating the use of smokeless tobacco in their facilities and among players. She highlighted the health complications that can be caused from the use of smokeless tobacco including, mouth cancer, tongue cancer, heart disease and an increased risk of heart attack.
