HUD Announces All Public Housing Agencies Must Go Smoke-Free

On November 30th, the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development announced that all public housing agencies have 18 months to implement smoke-free policies. The new rule does not include e-cigarettes but, public housing agencies do have the option to include e-cigarettes into their individual policies. The new ruling apply to all living units, common areas, offices and outdoor areas within 25 feet of the buildings.
