The North Central Area Health Education Center (NCAHEC)/Marshfield Clinic 2014 Health Careers Summer Camp is a 5-day (June 22-26,2014) program that provides an opportunity for high school students grades 10 – 12 to experience first hand the challenges, opportunities, and rewards of health professions. The hands-on activities are facilitated by instructors and health care professionals. Diversity awareness and leadership skills training are included as a part of the camp experience. Chaperones are present at all times.

A limited number of students will be selected to attend camp, based on the information provided in their applications. Students attending camp are provided lodging at the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. Camp expenses, including the cost of meals, lodging, and transportation, are paid for by North Central AHEC and Marshfield Clinic. Campers are expected to pay a nominal registration fee of $100.00, which is due upon acceptance to camp. The registration fee is nonrefundable, with scholarships available if needed.

Visit the 2014 Camp Website Link for student application information and the online application form. The counselor online application form is also on the website.

This unique camp experience is a collaboration of North Central Area Health Education Center (NCAHEC) and Marshfield Clinic.
